Officially announced on the Pakistan Army’s portal at https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/, the online registration window is set to open from the 12th of February and will conclude on the 17th of March, 2024. The initial testing phase is scheduled from March 20th through April 26th, 2024.

Course Prerequisites:
Eligibility by Age: Candidates should fall within the age bracket of 17 to 21 years as of the 1st of September, 2024. However, a grace period of up to three months is permissible.
Marital Criteria: Only those who are single and have never been married are eligible to apply.
Gender Specification: The opportunity is open exclusively for male applicants.
Citizenship Requirement: To be considered, applicants are required to hold Pakistani citizenship. Individuals possessing dual nationality must agree to renounce their secondary nationality should they be selected to join.
Qualifications:
Applicants are expected to have completed their FSc (Pre-Engineering) or Intermediate qualification in Computer Science (ICS), securing at least a 65% score in subjects that include:
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Chemistry or Computer Science or Computer Studies
Those currently in their final year of FSc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS and have achieved a minimum of 65% in their first-year examinations may also submit their applications. They must provide a hope certificate from the head of their current educational institution as evidence of their anticipated completion.
Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)
- Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit as per the Pakistan Army Medical Board standards.
Selection Process:
The recruitment process commences with an initial written or online assessment, succeeded by a series of evaluations encompassing a physical fitness test, health screening, and a formal interview. Those who emerge successfully from these stages will face the ISSB (Inter-Services Selection Board) examination and personal interview.
Training Journey: Chosen individuals will have the esteemed opportunity to undertake rigorous training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA).
Educational Privileges: Those selected will be endowed with the chance to pursue an engineering education, free of cost, at top-tier institutions associated with NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology), coupled with a monthly monetary allowance.
